This certificate course is designed to help students develop the social, emotional, and professional skills required to succeed in modern workplaces. As organizations become more diverse, fast-paced and people-oriented, technical knowledge alone is not sufficient — students must also demonstrate civility, emotional intelligence, professional behavior, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication.
The course focuses on building awareness about workplace behavior, etiquette, emotional control, and respectful interaction in professional environments. Students will learn how to recognize and avoid uncivil behavior such as micro-aggressions, passive aggressiveness, and workplace gossip, and understand how these negatively impact organizational culture, employee morale, and performance

Through interactive sessions, examples, discussions, and assignments, students will gain practical exposure to professional etiquette, body language, time management, multicultural sensitivity, emotional intelligence, and conflict management.
