Anyone with basic knowledge of Mathematics and eager to learn new tricks in Mathematics.

Course Description

Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of Indian Mathematics formulated by Sri Bharati Tirthaji rooting to Vedas. It is a collection of 16 Sutras and 13 Sub-sutras which is used to effectively solve problems involving Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and Conics.                        

        In this course we shall learn 16 Sutras and its Subsutras,  Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Algebra of Polynomials, Squaring, Square roots, cubing, cube roots, Digit Sums etc  which is of duration 30 hours. It comprises of recorded lectures and weekly practice quizzes. Each student shall dedicate atleast 2 hours inorder to progress in this course. There will be final online examination for 30 marks with a passing grade of 50%. On successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded an e-certificate.

Course Outcomes

  At the end of the course learners will be able to:

Ø  Demonstrate proficiency in performing basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using Vedic mathematics techniques, often faster than traditional methods.

Ø  Develop improved mental calculation abilities through the practice of Vedic mathematics, enabling them to perform calculations swiftly and accurately without relying heavily on pen and paper.

Ø  Achieve increased speed and accuracy in solving mathematical problems, particularly those involving large numbers, fractions, decimals, and algebraic expressions, using Vedic techniques.

Ø  Apply Vedic mathematics principles to solve a variety of mathematical problems, including word problems, puzzles, and real-life scenarios, demonstrating creativity and adaptability in problem-solving.
