MODULE I: BETTER PRONUNCIATION (15 Hours)
1. Introduction to 44 sounds of English through IPA script (3 hrs)
2. Word accent: rules and lists of words (4 hrs)
3. Commonly mispronounced words by Indian users of English and their correct forms
4. Obscuration and elision of unstressed syllables
5. Pronunciation of plural inflectional suffixes-s/-es and past tense suffix-ed
6. Dividing sentences into tone groups and using appropriate pitch of voice
MODULE II: STRENGTHENING THE GRAMMAR BASE (15 Hours)
1. Reinforce understanding and application of grammar basics.
2. Identify and correct common errors in articles, subject-verb concord, tenses, modals, and prepositions.
3. Frame and use different sentence types effectively in writing and speech.
